POLICY – To acknowledge our responsibility in promoting a healthy, safe and litigious free environment for our members to participate in and the general public to enjoy.
PURPOSE – The purpose of this plan is to manage the health and safety risks with the running of National, State, Divisional and Club fishing competitions.
SCOPE – The Risk Management plan applies to all competitors, officials, volunteers and the general public who are involved in the organising, running and competing in the above mentioned competitions.
PROCEDURE – This plan is set up in such a way as to maximize health and safety opportunities and to minimize any losses or risks that might occur. It is in line with the Australian Standards AS/NZ4360 1999 Risk Management. Briefings on all health and safety issues and the risk management plan will be given to all concerned prior to the commencement of these events.
RECORD KEEPING – Records will be created and kept for the items listed below for all National and State competitions.
